Welcome Back!

Today I share with you the current recalls going on with the different car companies. These are important things you should know to keep you and your family safe.

The most important thing you should know about recalls, and no one ever tells you, is that if there is a recall on your vehicle, the dealer has to pay for it - not you.  It's just some of your time to get the vehicle there to be fixed.

The one recall that seems to have gone somewhat unnoticed, is the Nissan Pathfinder. Did you know that all years - back to the first year - have major recalls including the steering box rotting out of the vehicle? One minute you are directing the car and the next moment - the car is steering off on its own! There are other problems as well. Don't let this happen to you! To check that recall - CLICK HERE

The Hundai/Kia Recalls. These are the vehicles listed for those recalls -
"Elantra compacts from 2011 to 2013 to fix an air bag problem, Hyundai models affected by the brake light switch recall include the 2007 to 2009 Accent and Tucson, the 2007 to 2010 Elantra, the 2011 Sonata, the 2007 to 2011 Santa Fe, the 2008 to 2009 Veracruz and the 2010 to 2011 Genesis Coupe. Kia models include the 2007 to 2010 Rondo and Sportage, the 2011 Optima, the 2007 to 2011 Sorento, the 2010 to 2011 Soul and the 2007 Sedona. The recall is in addition to a 2009 recall for a similar problem with the brake light switches." Welcome Back!

Well, I've started on a new eGuide. Its more detailed and better than the last one. I found more great information to add to it, so I am sure it will be more help.

It's going to be the free gift incorporated into my "Car Basics for Women" site which I'm also working on. More on that later ...

So far I have Owner's Manual info, Checking and where to find information on correct Oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze levels, brake fluid, power steering fluid. There is also tire information - that I have so far. I will be working on windshield fluid, wipers, air filters, and Engine Light code information. (Sometimes the engine light shows up under the ABS or Service Engine Soon lights as well.)

Time to work on the e-guide . I want to get that all set and contact my designer for the e-cover I want done for it. (She did a great job on my header for my webpage!)

Talk to you soon! Enjoy your day! :D

Sincerely,

Sylvia
