  Today I share with you the current recalls going on with the different car companies. These are important things you should know to keep you and your family safe. 

  The most important thing you should know about recalls, and no one ever tells you, is that if there is a recall on your vehicle, the dealer has to pay for it - not you.  It's just some of your time to get the vehicle there to be fixed. 

  The one recall that seems to have gone somewhat unnoticed, is the Nissan Pathfinder. Did you know that all years - back to the first year - have major recalls including the steering box rotting out of the vehicle? One minute you are directing the car and the next moment - the car is steering off on its own! There are other problems as well. Don't let this happen to you! To check that recall - CLICK HERE

  The Hundai/Kia Recalls. These are the vehicles listed for those recalls - 
"Elantra compacts from 2011 to 2013 to fix an air bag problem, Hyundai models affected by the brake light switch recall include the 2007 to 2009 Accent and Tucson, the 2007 to 2010 Elantra, the 2011 Sonata, the 2007 to 2011 Santa Fe, the 2008 to 2009 Veracruz and the 2010 to 2011 Genesis Coupe. Kia models include the 2007 to 2010 Rondo and Sportage, the 2011 Optima, the 2007 to 2011 Sorento, the 2010 to 2011 Soul and the 2007 Sedona.The recall is in addition to a 2009 recall for a similar problem with the brake light switches."   A lot of people love and drive Subarus. There is a recall on some of these as well. These are the vehicles that are being recalled: "2005-09 Outback wagons andLegacy sedans due to a problem with the brake lines that could cause corrosion. Affected vehicles were manufactured between December 2003 and April 2009 and registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia." CLICK HERE to read full article. 


  Toyota, Honda, Nissan recalls. These are the vehicles affected by the recall ... "About 680,000 are in North America, 270,000 in Japan and 64,000 in Europe. The models include the Civic, CR-V and Odyssey.   
The recall extends to Latin America, China, other Asian nations, the Middle East and Africa. Recalled models in Japan include the Cube, X-Trail, Maxima and Teana, made from August 2000 to January 2004. Also affected under the same recall were the RX-8 and Mazda 6 at Mazda Motor Corp."   The other article about the recall also includes these vehicles: "A small number of cars made by Germany's BMW AG and General Motors Co. and also involved. Toyota will have to inspect or fix 1.7 million vehicles worldwide, including about 580,000 in North America, 490,000 in Europe and 320,000 in Japan. The models include the Corolla compact, Matrix hatchback, Sequoia SUV, and Tundra pickup, as well as the Lexus SC 430 sports car. All the vehicles were manufactured from 2001 to 2003. 680,000 in North America, 270,000 in Japan and 64,000 in Europe. Models include the Civic compact, CR-V small SUV and Odyssey minivan from the 2001 to 2003 model years. 265,000 in the U.S. Models include the Nissan Maxima midsize sedan, Pathfinder SUV and Sentra compact as well as the Infiniti FX crossover and QX4 SUV, all from the 2001-2003 model years. Recalled models in Japan include the Cube, X-Trail, Maxima and Teana. 45,000 Mazda RX-8 and Mazda 6 cars are affected, including 4,000 in Japan. 55,000 Pontiac Vibe hatchbacks sold in the U.S. and Canada are being recalled."   In Australia, these cars are being recalled ... " 2001-2003 models of the Civic, 2002-2003 versions of the 
CR-V and 2003 built Jazz are the Honda models fitted with the potentially faulty component." Read this article by CLICKING HERE


  Another Honda recall discovered! "The recall includes the Honda CR-V small SUV and Odyssey minivan from the 2012 and 2013 model years. Also covered is the 2013 Acura RDX SUV." Read more by CLICKING HERE
